Paddlers Restaurant & Bar – Located in Kaunakakai, Paddlers offers fine dining cuisine in a very casual setting with a full bar, live music and dancing most nights. The Ahi Poke bowls are amazing!
Kualapu’u Cookhouse – A small, quaint restaurant in the town of Kualapu’u. Homey atmosphere, but they make one of the best ribeye steaks you’ll ever eat.
Kanemitsu’s Bakery – An 80-year-old bakery known for its baked goods and the “hot bread” served out of its back door at night. Go on any night (except Tuesday) between 7PM – 9PM and get yourself some Molokai hot bread filled with strawberry & cream cheese, blueberry & cream cheese or our favorite – butter & cinnamon!
Hiro’s ‘Ohana Grill – Located on the beach side of Hotel Molokai in Kaunakakai. The most formal restaurant on the island, Hiro’s offers casual-fine dining for lunch and dinner. Open-air seating and a full bar are literally steps from the ocean with breathtaking views of the island of Lana’i.
Markets
Friendly Market Center – Located in Kaunakakai, is a small town grocery store with all the staples, and a decent selection of fish. We recommend going here before heading to Paniolo Hale.
Kumu Farms – Located near the Molokai Airport is an all organic vegetable and fruit farm. Here you will find the freshest and most delicious produce on the entire island. It’s one of our favorite places on the island.
Molokai Livestock Cooperative – Also located near the Molokai Airport is Molokai Livestock Cooperative. Here you will find all Molokai-grown and grass-fed beef, some pork and even local venison. Definitely worth the stop.
Something for Everybody – Featuring over 30 Molokai makers and artists, this store offers a wide variety of clothing, jewelry, hats, koozies and decor.
