House Rules
- ALL of Paniolo Hale is a NON-SMOKING. Smoking of ANY KIND is prohibited inside the unit or anywhere on the property.
- Fireworks are prohibited.
- No pets. This is a condo association rule.
- Our security agency requires that all guests sign in on the clipboard outside the office lanai. When it is convenient, please sign in after you arrive. You will need the tag number on your car.
- Quiet hours are from 10PM to 8AM.
- No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests.
- When leaving for any length of time, please turn off all lights and fans. Electricity here is expensive.
- There is no lifeguard on duty at the pool or the ocean. Babies, children or otherwise weak swimmers should not be left unattended at the pool or near the ocean.
- When using the BBQ, do not leave it unattended and please clean the grill after using.
- It is the Hawaiian custom that before entering a private home you remove your shoes or sandals. This slows down the wear of the hardwood floors and helps keep the sand out of the house.
- Hawaii is an outdoor wonderland but suntan lotion and oil will permanently stain the furniture. Please refrain from sitting on upholstered furniture in bathing suits.
- Keep in mind that you will be in the tropics with a large insect population. Even with a very active abatement program, we strongly suggest that you put all food away in the refrigerator at night and empty the garbage before you go to bed. One food crumb invites an army of ants!
- No oil, seeds, grease or toxic chemicals (e.g. drain cleaner) are to be rinsed down the drain.
- Check-out time is no later than 10AM. Check-in no earlier than 3PM.
- On the day of your departure, we ask that you do the following:
a. Please take out the kitchen trash, especially if it contains food waste.
b. Gather all bed linens and pile them on the bed. Leave towels piled on bathroom floor.
While we take each rule seriously, failure to comply with rules 1 through 6 will result in immediate eviction and no refund for the balance of your stay at Paniolo Hale C3.
